Monday, August 26th

12:17am: Travis Smith 33 of Ralston was booked into the jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 3rd offense and driving while barred.

10:40am: Jason Smits 42 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:22am: A deputy arrested Dale Spauling 56 of Scranton in the 700 block of Main Street, Scranton.

11:53am: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on the 144 diagonal and 1st street, Rippey. Rebecca Roorda 69 of Ames was traveling south on 1st Street in a 2018 Ford F150. Roorda pulled from the stop sign and was struck by Larry Main 63 of Moravia. Main was driving a 2006 Town and County. Roorda was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. The Town and Country had an estimated 3,000 dollars damage and the F-150 had and estimated 3,500 dollars damage.

12:03pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of North 11th Street, Grand Junction.

12:17pm: Dale Spaulding 56 of Scranton was booked into the jail for harassment 3rd degree.

1:10pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 700 block of Chicago Street, Scranton.

4:16pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on Neola Avenue and 300th Street.

5:11pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 220th Street near Hillcrest Avenue.

5:41pm: A deputy assisted with a tree branch in the power line in the 2200 block of Neola Avenue.

9:16pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint near South 13th Street and Hager Street, Grand Junction.

Tuesday, August 27th

1:04am: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call in the 300 block of 3rd Street, Rippey.

11:10am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Percival Street, Rippey.

12:40pm: Bobby Mosley 43 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:49pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street and X Avenue.

8:23pm: Bobby Hunt 45 of Churdan was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault and disorderly conduct.

9:38pm: Alicia Ofelt 37 of Churdan was booked into the jail for disorderly conduct.

Wednesday, August 28th

1:58am: A deputy investigated a noise complaint on 220th Street near S Avenue.

2:05pm: Christian Riley 33 of Carroll was booked into the jail for 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance.

2:36am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 700 block of South 11th Street, Grand Junction.

4:49pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 210th Street near N Avenue.

6:01pm: A deputy investigated a civil dispute near South 13th Street and Main Street, Grand Junction.

6:28pm: A deputy investigated a 911 hang up near 267th Street and P Avenue.

7:21pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person at the intersection of 210th Street and 220th.

9:28pm: A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 1000 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

9:40pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call on 290th Street and G Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
