The City of Perry will be shutting down a street today that will last the remainder of the week.
The city announces that starting today Dewey Street from 8th Street to Summer Street will be closing down. They state the reason is for a sewer installation project for Habitat for Humanity following the conclusion of school in Perry. According to the city, the area is expected to reopen Friday afternoon with Summer Street available for school pick up.
The city kindly asks residents to obey signage and barricades by not removing them or running them over as it creates a safety issue for employees. For more information about the closure, contact the City of Perry at (515)-465-2481.
