The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Alumni Association is making progress to bring a special entity into Dallas County.
Adel Mayor Jim Peters tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the ADM Alumni Association has had this idea for a while, contacting several bell companies, and he shares that the organization found one in particular, Verdin Company, that fits the requests the alumni association was looking for. Peters is joyful to bring a bell to the ADM community, as he reveals the projected timeline.
“There’s 21 design points that the ADM Alumni Association worked with the bell company, in terms of finished images and texts. It should be delivered by early next year, and can’t wait to work with the school to display that and have it be a symbol, ADM Tiger pride and spirit.”
Peters claims that the alumni association raised the funds to purchase the bell and the ADM School District, along with the ADM Alumni Association, are the purchaser of the bell.
