Stuart American Legion James C. Mcghee Post 146 recently shared where they stand in funding for renovations to their skating rink.

Post Commander Chuck Avey mentions that the Post is extremely thankful for the many generous donations from the individuals and communities in the area that are helping to make the work possible. He adds that some of the funding has come from a $5,000 grant from Farmers Electric Cooperative and a $12,500 grant from the Guthrie County Community Foundation. With the two grants, the total funds currently going towards the project comes to $19,225.
