
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors is set to meet in regular session on Tuesday.
The board is looking to take action on several items pertaining to the new criminal court building in Adel, featuring bond referendum information as well as a resolution of a special election on the issuance of general obligation bonds or capital loan notes.
Other items on the agenda seeking approval at Tuesday’s meeting include a resolution for a compensation board reinstatement, a resolution for a commercial plan review fee, a change order and pay application for the courthouse restoration project, and a resolution to notify the commissioner of elections to submit a question to the registered voters about increasing the number of supervisors from three to five.
Additional items on the agenda looking for approval are right of way purchase agreements and roads update from the Secondary Roads Department, setting a time/date for a public hearing on the Polk County Supplemental Foods Program Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a possible closed session to discuss purchase of real estate.
The meeting is open to the public and will take place on Tuesday inside the board of supervisors meeting room, 902 Court Street, in Adel at 9:30am.
