A reminder that today is the 2nd Annual Road Trip in Memory of Harley McDonald.

Nina McDonald says the festivities include the road trip to six locations, starting and ending at the Scranton Community Center. Registrations are 9-11am, with a $20 fee. The afternoon includes the beer garden opening at noon, followed by the 515 Cornhole Tournament at 2pm. Dinner is then served at 6pm, along with a variety of raffles at 7pm and a live auction at 7:15pm. The event wraps up with live musical entertainment at 8pm with Dirt Road Divide. 

Nina adds this is a fundraiser for her son Harley who passed away from 90 percent third degree burns from a cabin fire in the winter of 2021. Proceeds will go back to continuing education and updated equipment in the Burn Treatment Center and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where Harley was treated at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
