The Perry Food Pantry is soliciting donations of specific items that will benefit the community.
The food pantry is looking for miscellaneous items recommending people bring cake mixes, mustard, ketchup, barbecue sauce, spices, large boxes of jello, pickles, syrup, jelly, diced mushrooms, and green chilis. Although the pantry is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Perry Food Pantry Manager Lou Hoger tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there is a cart outside in front of the organization that people can drop off items anytime.
Hoger adds that a volunteer is stationed at the pantry Tuesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm, then 2:30-6pm on Thursdays. Any questions can be directed to Hoger at (515)-570-2975.
