The Little Charger Early Learning Center (ELC) held the ribbon cutting for their new facility in Guthrie Center.
Several community members attended, and were able to partake in the free will donation meal provided with the help of the Guthrie County Cattlemen’s Association. The ELC also held an open house to allow community members to tour the facility. Director Kimla Buttler shared with Raccoon Valley Radio how it felt to be able to show the facilities off.
“Well, we couldn’t have done it without the support of the community. There’s been so many people who have been so generous and helpful. It’s great to have everybody here. We’ve worked so hard on it. The (ELC) Board has worked so hard, so to be able to show off our hard work has just been amazing. We couldn’t do it without the community, so they’re all welcome, and we love having them here.”
Buttler also mentioned that the new facilities are great, and not only is the staff enjoying them, but the children are as well.
