Kamden Kinne is a four year varsity football player for the Greene County Rams. The offensive and defensive lineman is also an All-District performer who has seen how head coach Kaden Duncan and his staff work. Kinne talks about those coaching styles. “The one thing I’ve noticed is that their coaching style differs from person to person, but also from athlete to athlete.”
He added, “I’ve learned that the more they get on you, the more they want you to succeed. Especially when I was younger every time I entered the film room I was just hoping they wouldn’t call my name. I realize now that if they didn’t do that, I wouldn’t be anything better than the freshman that I was. That coaching gave me a lot of opportunity to progress, so when you’re getting your name called out, look at the positive side of things. Take it, and learn from it.”
The Rams scrimmage at Ogden on Aug. 23, then open the regular season on Friday, Aug. 30 in Jefferson at Linduska Field at 7 p.m. vs. the Carroll High Tigers. All Greene County football games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
