The Iowa State Fair wrapped up yesterday and many 4-Her’s from Dallas County gained high honors.
Dallas County 4-Her’s in the Livestock & Horticulture division that captured a purple ribbon placing first featured Jaylee Zika, Levi Hick, Dylan Manning, Jack Ireland, Matilyn Lautner, Kennedy Cheney, Kendall James, Autry Gage, Gwenna Wambold, Teag Phillips, Jackson Pitzen, Jackson Hitchcock, and Hayley Hick.
For the Fair Exhibits & Communication Division, Dallas County had two purple ribbon finishers including Caroline Smalley and Maelyn West. Dallas Center’s Jill Woodward had her oil painting displayed in the Fine Arts Competition and Iris Spargo, from Adel, was one of three winners in the Fine Art Junior Awards, plus Adel’s Hannah Borst as an exhibitor in the Photography Salon.
