The Adel City Council met in regular session this past Tuesday.

The council only approved one item during the meeting and that was a resolution amending certain addresses from an Adel residence to a Waukee residence. According to Adel Mayor Jim Peters, the first reading for the proposed vacations of right-of-ways along Bradfield Street within Southbridge Plat 7 was tabled until the next meeting on September 10th. 

The council also set two public hearings for the September 10th meeting, with one regarding uniform building codes previously adopted by the City of Adel, and the other for the Old Portland Road Basin Sanitary Sewer Connection Fee District.
