Travel Iowa will be opening applications for one of their grants soon.

Businesses can begin applying for the Iowa Tourism Grant on August 26th, and the deadline for submission is September 30th. This grant allows for funding for marketing that’s geared towards tourism initiatives, and meetings and events that benefit both the local and state economies. Those eligible for the grant must be tourism related, and includes non-profits, for-profits, cities, counties and regional government entities, with grants awarded from $2,500 to $10,000 with a 20 percent cash match.
