A project was recently completed at a senior living home in Jefferson with a grant to help offset the cost.

With the help of a $5,500 grant from the Greene County Community Foundation, Ever Greene Ridge had a new handicap-accessible entrance installed. Greene County Medical Center Foundation Director Nancy Houska says their non-profit organization that operates the independent living facility for seniors, having this new entry was on their wish list and it brings ease of access and increased security which helps keep costs down for the tenants.

Houska thanks the Greene County Community Foundation for their grant to help with the project that costs a total of $7,565.
