The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

Finance Director Rob Tietz gave an update pertaining to the new administration building in Adel referencing that the carpeting on the east side is nearing completion. The building is set to open in late September or sometime in October. Items on the agenda that were approved at Tuesday’s meeting included a resolution for the High Trestle Trail Connector Grand Opening that is happening on Saturday, a resolution to abate mobile home taxes, a bible reading marathon courthouse lawn event request as presented, and approval to move $2,000,000 for the new administration building.

The board ended the meeting with a Recorder’s Workshop and a Natural Conservation Property Tax Exemption Workshop.
