The City of Perry recently hired a company to dispose of ash trees in the community.

According to the city, Walton Tree Service is supplying their resources to help discard ash trees in the right of way. The city claims that about half of the ash trees in the right of way have already been extracted from the area and that the company is working hard to remove the rest. 

The City of Perry cautions people that still have ash trees that Walton Tree Service will stop by to take them down in a timely manner. For more information, contact the City of Perry at (515)-465-2481.
