As the Wildcat football team had their second official practice of the season this morning, West Central Valley set their focus to their first unofficial action of the 2024-25 football season, a scrimmage at home against the Madrid Tigers.

Historically, dating back to 2016, the Wildcats have fallen to the Madrid Tigers in the two contests the teams have had against each other. The Tigers nearly shut out the Wildcats in their first outing in 2016, defeating West Central Valley 56-6. The Wildcats battled back in 2017, but although the game came down to a field goal, the Wildcats fell to the Tigers 35-33 in a close, emotional battle.

Looking to rewrite history while starting the season off on a high note, the West Central Valley Wildcat football team prepare for a scrimmage at home against the Madrid Tigers on Friday, October 23rd looking to propel the Wildcat season with positive momentum.
