Perry volleyball is looking to build off a 11 win campaign.  The Jayettes graduated 5 seniors and have hired a new coach, Lynn Hulgan.  Lynn steps in after being the assistant the last few years.  She is familiar with this roster and is looking forward to new girls having larger roles.  “Maddie Stika, Gabriela Orellana,  Miley Sanchez, Sayra Arceo those are our four seniors they’ve been with us with the program the whole 4 years.”  Gabriela led the team with 206 assists last year.  Miley and Sayra both return with over 70 kills a piece last season.  Coach also had high praise for another senior.  “Taylor Leslie, she’s my right side.  I can’t tell you how consistent she is.  I am always impressed at how scrappy she is.  She hits the floor almost every single time when necessary and she makes plays off that right side.”  

Jayette volleyball just started practice yesterday as they prepare for their first match.  The first time Perry takes the floor is September 7 at the SCC Early Bird Tourney.
