The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The council is considering an approval of a resolution pertaining to the proposed ordinance for the Old Portland Road Basin Sanitary Sewer Connection Fee District. The council is hoping to set the public hearing for a date in September. 

Other items on the agenda seeking approval include the first reading for the proposed vacations of right-of-ways along Bradfield Street within Southbridge Plat 7, amending an Adel address to a Waukee address, and the proposal to amend certain uniform building codes previously adopted by the City of Adel. 

The meeting will be held at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street, tonight at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have a recap of the meeting later in the week.
