The new school year is approaching quickly as Perry High School Principal’s walks through the preparations he’s making.
Following the January 4th shooting that killed sixth grader Ahmir Jolliff and longtime High School Principal Dan Marburger, the school board named Brad Snowgren to that role. He was Perry’s Associate Principal for the past six years. Snowgren discusses the areas he’s been zeroing in on prepping for the 2024-2025 school year.
“Working on the transition from the associate principal role to into the principal role. Been looking at data and trying to develop a plan here to continue the growth we’ve had, or have been making the last couple of years.”
Snowgren is thankful for the amount of support that’s been pouring in from not only his faculty and staff, but also from the community as well. He is anticipating the return of students and staff back into the building in a couple of weeks.
“It’s always just that buzz of school again and hearing the laughter and the interactions of the school day, and what a great place Perry is to work, to live, and to grow.”
The first day of school for Perry High School is Friday, August 23rd.
