Two representatives from Perry Lutheran Homes were recently recognized by an Iowa corporation.
LeadingAge Iowa is honoring Dr. Randy McCaulley and Carmelite Staker for their contributions they’ve had with Perry Lutheran Homes. McCaulley received the 2024 Board Member of the Year Award, while Staker was given the 2024 Leading Life Award.
According to a press release, the board member award acknowledges an individual who has served unselfishly and with distinction on the board of trustees of a LeadingAge Iowa member organization. McCaulley has been on the board of directors for 12 years.
On the other hand, Staker has been a resident at the Spring Valley Campus since 2021. The press release states that the leading life award celebrates a resident that’s demonstrated an extraordinary attitude and level of resilience as they’ve grown older.
McCaulley and Staker will attend a statewide ceremony at LeadingAge Iowa’s Leadership Symposium at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center in Ames on September 11th. In addition, a community event will be happening in Perry at a later date.
