Fall sports practices are underway for Greene County High School athletes in the sports of cross-country, football, and volleyball. Greene County Activities Director Dave Wright talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the memories made from taking part in high school activities. “I was making comment to my wife watching football this last Fall on TV that I can hardly remember what it was like just getting up off the ground easily!” Wright was the JSPC football team center through the 1990 season.
On a more serious note, he talked about the value of remembering those days. “In high school athletics and activities, you gain skills for your future, then there are the memories, the comradery with your teammates, and other things are excellent things you take away from your high school years.
