A special golf tournament is set to tee off tomorrow at the Perry Golf and Country Club.

The Annual Trent Miner Memorial Parent/Child Golf Tournament will be happening tomorrow with two different age groups. A parent/child session for ages 13 and younger starts at 10am with a $20 cost per person. A second session will take place in the afternoon at 1pm for youth 14 years and older with a fee of $40. 

According to Perry Golf Manager Michelle Wilkening, the older individual does not need to be a parent, but can be a friend or relative. She notes that a meal will be served following the conclusion of each session. Silent auctions with raffle prizes will be available, and the proceeds are going towards the Trent Miner Scholarship Fund, Make A Wish and CaringBridge. Registration is open to the public and can be done by contacting the Perry Golf & Country Club at (515)-465-3852.
