A reminder that Raccoon Valley Radio will be out at the Adel Sweet Corn Festival today.

The City of Adel is hosting the 45th Annual Sweet Corn Festival, 301 S 10th Street, today full of events. The day will begin with a 5K Run/Walk at 7:30am, then Dallas County’s largest parade will proceed along Greene and 18th Streets at 9:30am with floats and candy being given out from many local businesses. 

Other fun activities today include a bags tournament, a volleyball tournament, car show, kids entertainment, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball Dunk Tank, and a street party from 6pm-midnight featuring the band Burning Sensations performing on 10th and Main Street (7:30-11:30pm) on the Raccoon Valley Bank Stage & Pavilion. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be on the corner of 9th and Main Street from 8am-4pm.
