Jefferson Parks and Recreation is starting up youth soccer soon.

The JPRD U6 Soccer program is from September 6th-30th at Kelso Park for kids who are four and five years old. Practices and games will take place on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm with kids learning the sport with drills and games. The cost to participate is $20 for Greene County Community Center members and $25 for non-members, with shin guards mandatory. Parents are needed to be volunteer coaches. Deadline to register is September 4th.

The JPRD U8 Soccer program is September 7th-28th on Saturdays for games in Jefferson and Ogden. Practices and games in Jefferson, will take place on the east softball fields on East Lincoln Way. Shin guards are mandatory and no toe cleats. The cost to participate is $35 for community center members and $40 for non-members. Additional fees are $20 for youth and adult jerseys and $5 for socks. Registration deadline is August 16th.
