Practice is just one week away for fall sports.  Perry will have a new coach for three of their teams.  Josh Vannornam steps in as football coach.  He replaces Tyler Hovey.  Lynn Hulgan will take over for volleyball for Katelyn Whelchel.  Nathan Krohn becomes the boys cross country coach.  He takes over for Tina Lutterman.  Nathan returns to coaching spending time as the girls cross country coach years ago.  Girls swimming will continue to be led by Jean Dowd and Megan Maylum is back for girls XC.

New AD, Tina Lutterman, has been working closely with the new and existing coaches as they prepare for the fall.  “I have existing relationship with all three of those new coaches and I feel one of the things I want to bring is some improved communication with coaching staff and within my position.  I’ve been in contact with all three of those new coaches and the existing ones to make sure they have what they need I’m just excited for them to get started with their programs.”

Competitions for fall sports begin on August 29 while practice can begin on August 12.
