A senior from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball team was selected to be in a special game.

The Tigers’ Grant Rychnovsky recently was in Pella as a participant with the Senior All-Star Series team. Rychnovsky played on the Large School West team, featuring players from Norwalk, Des Moines Roosevelt, Dallas Center-Grimes, Ames, Johnston, Urbandale, Mason City, Bondurant-Farrar, Indianola, Sioux City North, Ankeny Centennial, and Lewis Central.

Rychnovsky led ADM this season with 24 runs scored off 34 hits, had 18 singles, eight doubles, five triples, three home runs, and 25 RBI’s. He was a key contributor on the mound, pitching for the Tigers. Rychnovsky played his final game in an ADM uniform after losing to North Polk on July 16th.
