Grand Junction will be hopping with family-fun entertainment this weekend.

The annual 50107 Summerfest kicks off tomorrow evening with a slate of festivities. Co-Organizer Linda Hoffman says the carnival, food vendors, and yard games all open at 5pm, along with Greene County Cattlemen’s Association will also serve a meal from 5-8pm. Hoffman talks about the carnival.

“And it is the same carnival, same rides that actually was over at the Bell Tower Festival this year, it’s Gotcha Games Carnival. We can still get advanced, they’re actually being sold at Jagged Edge Salon here in Grand Junction, or you can contact any one of the members on our Facebook page and we will get the tickets for you.”   

The advance punch cards are $15 before tomorrow or $20 the day of and she points out that all of the advanced ticket sales goes back to their committee for next year’s event. Hoffman says tomorrow’s activities round out with musical entertainment with Burnin’ Sensations from Ames, which plays all styles of music from the 50s to the present.
