A senior from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team is being honored to 1st Team All-Conference.

The Tigers’ Cameran Smith played her final game in an ADM uniform on July 25th in the Class 4A Championship, where she scored one run in the game. Smith appeared in 40 games during the 2024 season, leading the team with 134 at-bats, scoring 27 runs off 42 hits.

She tallied 28 singles, 10 doubles, three triples, one homer, and 21 RBI’s on the year. Smith was successful on both of her stolen base attempts and racked up 70 assists, 38 putouts, and committed eight errors on the season at second base. Smith was also the senior pitcher for the Tigers, where she completed an impeccable record of 13-1, pitching 65.2 innings, allowing 59 hits, 34 runs, walked 41 batters, and struck out 52 batters.

Smith was named to the 2024 All-Tournament Team for Class 4A. She was apart of a special senior class that made the state tournament in all four years throughout high school.
