The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Cross Country team begins the 2024 fall season with the first meet at the end of the month.

The calendar has flipped to the month of August, meaning that fall sports are on the horizon. The Tigers are hoping to replicate the great season from last year. In 2023, ADM advanced to the Class 3A State Championship in Fort Dodge, where they posted a 13th place finish.

The Tigers were close to capturing a first place finish last year, but was second in the Prairie Invite, Gilbert XC Meet, the home Tiger XC Meet, and the Leon Fox Invite. ADM placed third in the state qualifying meet in Clear Lake.

Head Coach Josh Chapman tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the 2024-2025 team has a good group of seniors with Torin Timmerman, Isaac Chapman, Shay Holdmeyer, and Keegan Holdmeyer. The Tigers graduated three seniors following the 2023 season (Tom Hook, Hunter Landphair, & Sam Peters).

ADM begins the 2024 season in Johnston on August 31st.
