A fun summer program coinciding with a worldly event is taking place at the Adel Public Library next week.

The library announces that they will be participating in an Olympic-style Storytime on Tuesday. According to Patron Services Manager Amy Puck, she reveals that a special guest is spearheading the program.

“We will have former director Paula James in for a storytime. Miss Paula makes appearances throughout the year with different themed storytimes. It’s going to be wonderful, she usually has some crafts.”

The library is inviting children between the ages of zero and five to enjoy their own version of the summer games. Tuesday’s program requires registration and will be happening inside the Adel Library, 303 S. 10th Street, from 4-5pm. The library can be reached at (515)-993-3512.
