The practice fields, weight rooms, and gyms won’t see any action this week in Perry.  This week is coined “Family Week”.  This is the 4th edition of this non-contact period that started in 2021.  No high school activities are allowed to take place this week.  Perry AD, Tina Lutterman, on how this has changed coaching.  “As a coach you love your sport and you’re always into it.  It just goes so fast and it’s really just a heavy load of just getting everything done in time so when you can count on that little break at the end of the season it’s always nice.  The Perry AD also likes it as a parent.  “It’s fun watching your kids play, but just having that little bit of downtime and just giving them a chance to be kids and maybe take a trip or get out of town for a few days  it’s just a nice transition .”

“Family Week” began the week on Sunday and will run through August 4th.
