The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is going mobile with a new phone application.

Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the organization developed an app that allows users to gather public information from the sheriff’s office. He names specific entities that are available to see.

“You can see our daily calls for service. You can see all the sex offenders, you can see the vie network, you can see our inmate listing, you can learn about money on inmates books, or how to visit an inmate online instead of having to come see us.”

Infante demonstrates that it opens a pathway to communicate with people about the latest happenings within Dallas County. Infante admits that it will not give individuals access directly to deputies for safety reasons, but invites people to call the sheriff’s office with any concerns.
