New RAGBRAI Logo for the Greenfield stop
The city of Greenfield has been able to take a breather and enjoy a few events in the past month.
After the May 21st tornado, many have been busy with clean up, and working to help their community recover. Earlier this month was the Adair County Fair, and individuals were able to have some fun and relax a little bit. On July 23rd, Greenfield hosted the midday stop on day three of the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa, and bicyclists were able to enjoy some downtime by visiting local businesses, and make donations if they wanted to as a way of supporting the community. Donations can still be made to the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation to help support tornado relief efforts. Those donations can be made online at the Foundation’s website, with a mention of “tornado relief” in the memo box.
