Dallas Center – Grimes softball has completed their 2024 season going 32-9 on the season and finished tied for 7th at the state tournament. The Mustangs were able to be ranked in the top 5 throughout the majority of the season and were able to be tied with Norwalk for regular season Little Hawkeye Conference champions.

The Mustangs had eleven seniors on their roster, as they were able to put up some remarkable numbers as a class. Starting in 2020 as 8th graders, this class has been able to put up 138 wins total as a group. The eleven seniors on the roster included Lydia Zaruba, Macee Reiling, Summer Campbell, Bella Mulder, Haylee Uhl, Aubrey Johansen, Camila Rodriguez, Ashlynn Cross, Reese Burke, Amelia Ehlert, Tess McGuire, Kerry Myers, and Brantley Praska.

DCG will be returning a lot of talent back though they will badly miss their senior class, as they will be looking to put together another strong year in 2025.
