New RAGBRAI Logo for the Greenfield stop

Today’s a big day in Greenfield.

The Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) will be passing through Greenfield today, as the city is the midday stop on the route between Atlantic and Winterset. The original route in Greenfield was altered after the May 21st tornado.

According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office bicyclists will enter the west side of town on Highway 92, then turn right onto Southwest 2nd Street, make a left on Southeast Oak Street and another right on South 1st Street before making it to the town square. After the participants get to the square, they will turn onto East Iowa Street and travel east, they will then turn right when they reach Southeast 4th Street, make a left on Southeast Mills Street, then turn right onto Southeast 6th Street to head south out of town on Highway 25.
