A fun interactive hike is coming up on Thursday for the Dallas County Conservation Board.
The board describes the program as a “scavenger hunt meeting I Spy” as interested participants will walk around the upper area of Kuehn to discover hidden animal furs. According to the board, this will be a self-guided tour with a naturalist available for answering questions.
The board mentions that people can expect to learn about the animals, be able to travel at their own pace, while enjoying the great outdoors. The Pelt Hike is taking place Thursday morning from 9-10am at the Kuehn Conservation Area. Any questions can be directed to the Dallas County Conservation Board at (515)-465-3577.
