Registration fees and meal prices were approved in the July Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Board meeting.

Superintendent Josh Rasmussen mentioned that they were talked about as both districts prepare for the new year. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that student registration fees are unchanged, but that the price of meals did increase.

“Meal prices did go up. Just trying to keep up with inflation, and of course, we’ve had to give raises over the last couple of years to our staff. So we need to raise those meal prices a little bit.”

Rasmussen mentions that at the Adair – Casey Elementary and AC/GC Junior High building, breakfast will be $1.75, while lunch is $2.70. He adds that in the Guthrie Center district, breakfast will be $2, while lunch is $3 at the elementary and $3.10 at the high school. Adult lunches for both districts will be $4.85.
