The strongest part for Perry baseball this most recent season was the pitching. The Bluejays went 11-18, while 11 guys saw time on the mound. The one-two punch of Owen Myers and Drake Levan was quite successful. Both guys would finish with a record of 5-4. Myers pitched a team high 73 innings, struck out 79, and had an ERA of 1.63. Levan went 49 2/3 innings. The senior fanned 59 with an ERA of 4.65. Kaelan Davis appeared in 11 games while going 0-2. The lefty pitched 27 2/3 innings and picked up 16 K’s. Geren Kenney would pick up the only win that Myers or Levan did not receive. Kenney went 1-1 and appeared in 8 games. Wyitt Belgarde, Ty Brokaw, Reid Iben, Ian Fisher, and Kain Killmer all also saw time on the bump. The first four all appear poised to have larger pitching roles next year, while Killmer will be wrestling at UW-Platteville.
