The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team knows who they will be facing next week to begin the state tournament.

The Tigers came out on top versus the Winterset Huskies on Tuesday to be named the Class 4A Region 4 Champions. The first run of the game wasn’t scored until the bottom of the fifth inning from Senior Aleah Johnson, which was followed by a five-run six inning to put some distance between them and Winterset.

For the Class 4A Bracket, ADM is playing Fort Dodge in the 4-5 matchup on Monday at 5:15pm at Iowa Central Field, in Fort Dodge. The Tigers are 29-9, representing the Raccoon River Conference, coming into the game, while the Dodgers are 30-12, out of the Alliance Conference. Raccoon Valley Radio will follow the Tigers through the state tournament with the games broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
