With the season over for the AC/GC Chargers baseball team, we look at the teams statistics for the season.
Looking at the hitting statistics, the team recorded 607 at bats, 96 runs and 144 hits, of which 119 were singles, 21 were doubles, one was a triple and three were home runs. There were also 78 RBI’s, 10 sacrifice bunts and two sacrifice flys. Players were walked 76 times, hit by pitch 47 times, reached on error 26 times, and were struck out 184 times. The team had 176 total bases, a .237 batting average, .365 on base percentage and .290 slugging percentage.
In the base running statistics, the team recorded 51 stolen bases on 58 stolen base attempts. When it came to fielding, the team had 151 assists, 443 put outs, 41 errors, 635 total chances, a .935 fielding percentage, one player thrown out while stealing, and 117 stolen bases allowed. In the pitching statistics, the Chargers had 55 pitching appearances, for 150 innings pitched, with a pitch count of 3100 and 682 opponent at bats. They also allowed an opponent batting average of .348, 237 hits, 254 runs, 169 earned runs, 128 walks, hit 61 batters, allowed 16 sacrifices, struck out 135 batters, had an earned run average of 7.89 and 2.43 walks and hits per inning pitched.
