The City of Perry is welcoming an organization that will assist with community development.
The city announces that the AmeriCorps Maple 5 Team is collaborating with them to help on several community projects to enhance local infrastructure. According to the City of Perry, some of the specific projects that the Maple 5 Team will working on include building an indoor batting facility at Pattee Park, renovations at the American Legion building, rehabilitation of housing with Dallas County Habitat for Humanity, initial development of a campground, beautification of parks and public spaces, and outreach programs with community organizations.
