The Dallas County Hospital is holding a program geared towards the elderly community.
The hospital will have their Senior Health, Lifestyle, & Wellness Fair on Wednesday July 24th from 10am-2pm. Public Relations Director of Marketing Tom Harmsen explains that more than 20 vendors will be downstairs in the south atrium of the hospital selling merchandise. He dives more into the purpose behind the wellness fair.
“The goal is to acquaint the community, whether you’re new to us or have been around for a while. Some of these service lines aren’t unique necessarily, but when you dive into the different practices that they’re doing and procedures they’re performing, there are some exciting updates that they can help educate you about.”
Harmsen adds that the wellness fair will give seniors an opportunity to learn more about resources DCH offers. Also, presentations from Caldwell Parrish Funeral Homes, 21st Century Rehab and Senior Life Solutions will be available during the wellness fair.
