Perry Baseball was eliminated last week in the Regional Quarterfinals. Grinnell beat the Bluejays 4-0. Perry finished the year at 11-18. 11 wins is the most for a Perry team since 2016. This is the second straight year the Bluejays finished with double digit wins. In conference play, they finished tied for 4th with a record of 6-8.
Owen Myers had a tremendous season. He anchored the pitching staff and had the top average on the team. The junior hit .391, stole 24 bases, and struck out 79 hitters with an ERA of 1.19. Drake Levan and Geren Kenney both finished with an average of .282 which was good enough for second on the team.
Perry will need to replace 4 seniors on next year’s team and will look to build of the 11 win campaign.
