The Adair County Fair has come to a close for another year, and some students of Guthrie County Schools performed well.
From Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center (AC/GC), a graduate from last year was successful once again, as Sophie Dorsey competed in the post high school division through AC/GC FFA, and came away with Champion Commercial Heifer and Reserve Champion Supreme Breeding Heifer and Champion Foundation Simmental Heifer (same animal). Also from AC/GC, Stella Largent finished with a Champion Angus Heifer, with Belle Fagan receiving Grand Champion Market Hog, Champion Market Barrow (same animal), and Carley Fagan will be taking her animal science static exhibit to the Iowa State Fair.
From West Central Valley, Dylan Abbott was awarded Champion Commercial Cow-Calf Pen – Heifer Calf, and Connor Beane will be taking a woodworking static exhibit to the Iowa State Fair. For more information of individuals heading to the State Fair, or of livestock show results, click the link below.
