The next Summer Concert Series is this weekend at Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County.

Board President Danielle Ross says the free concert will take place on Saturday starting at 5pm with the band Improv “N” Hard Copies. She talks about the featured band from Des Moines.

“I had first heard of them, they were the Bandolins, since then they have kind of broken up, but other people have gotten together. So you’re going to be hearing like a mandolin, and banjo, and guitar combinations. (It’ll) be kind of Americana, Oldies, just a wide variety, (and) some of their own music they perform.”      

The Weeine Wonderland food truck will be on site along with Twin Vines Winery from Panora. Ross adds that attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and enjoy a free concert at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens.
