The Greene County School Board will meet on Wednesday evening.
Under old business, the Board will consider for approval a resolution for the date of sale, electronic bidding procedures and official statement; along with a municipal advisory agreement with Piper Sandler to issue general obligation loan notes and an addendum to the previous dissemination agent agreement with Piper Sandler to add the issuance of the general obligation loan notes to the agreement for mandatory annual dissemination filing. The Board will consider approving the second reading of amending two policies for student progress reports and conferences, and graduation requirements.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the 28E agreement with New Opportunities with Head Start and the food program for Head Start, along with the milk and bread bids for the 2024-25 school year, school driving permits and fundraiser requests. They will also consider approving the 2024-25 depositories, the 2024-25 sports medicine contract, as well as next school year’s handbooks for district employees and all students, and appointing the treasurer, secretary and legal counsel for the upcoming school year. There is also a discussion with Turf Tank 2 and the meeting ending in a closed session to discuss the professional competency of an individual.
