The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is announcing some youth volleyball camps next week.
JPRD Assistant Director Nathan Kral says Greene County High School Varsity Volleyball Head Coach Chris Heisterkamp is having a 3rd and 4th grade camp, as well as a 5th and 6th grade camp on Monday and Tuesday at the Greene County Community Center. The 3rd and 4h graders are from 10:30-11:50am and the 5th and 6th grade camp is from noon-1:30pm. The younger grades will learn about the sport and participate in some basic drills and games, while the older grades will be at the more advanced level and learn how to play matches.
The fees for both camps are $20 for community center members and $25 for non-members. Contact the community center at 515-386-3412 or click here to sign up.
