The Dallas County Fair is nearing its end with the second to last day tomorrow.

Tomorrow will begin with the 4H/FFA Food Stand opening up at 7am, with the Dairy Goat Show at 7:30am and the Meat Goat Show following. The fair association announces that the static exhibits with a silent auction will be available from 9am-7pm. The Hot Glass Academy, Watermelon Feed, and the Kids Celebration all begin at 11am. 

Starting at noon, the 4H/FFA Sheep Show, then afterwards, there will be a “Show Me The Sheep” program. The carnival starts at 2pm, with the Sugar Grove Blue Ribbon Winners 100th Birthday Celebration and Otter shows all at 2pm. An additional Otter show is set for 6pm. At 3pm, the Dallas County Fair Queen Coronation and Little Miss Crowning is taking place. 

The fair association adds that bingo by the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn FFA Alumni starts at 4pm with the Farm Bureau Membership Appreciation Picnic at 5pm. The Figure 8 & Circle Track Racing begins at 6pm with free live music from Jordan Beem to follow. The Heart of Iowa Cloggers are performing at 7pm, then fireworks will end the evening. 

Raccoon Valley’s Radio’s Big Red will be at the fair from 10am-6pm. The Dallas County Fair is taking place on the fairgrounds, 28057 Fairground Road, in Adel.
