A road project in the City of Perry will affect some roads for the next couple of weeks.

According to the City of Perry, a portion of Iowa Street to Highway 141 will be closing today due to construction. The city claims that the closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, with a plan to reopen on July 23rd, pending any weather delays. 

The city kindly asks to drive around the affected area and not to attempt to drive through barricades as it will create a safety hazard for city employees. More information is available by calling Perry City Hall at (515)-465-2481.
