Dallas Center – Grimes baseball will be taking on Dallas County foe the Waukee Warriors tonight at the Mustangs continue to gear up for postseason play that begins on Friday. DCG comes into the matchup with a 32-2 record while Waukee comes in with a 24-14 mark.

Mustang baseball has been very good in close games as of late, with their last three games all coming within one run.

The next two games for DCG will be tune up games for the Mustangs, as they look to be fully ready to go later this week. The biggest thing will be getting the pitching unit on rotation, keeping the bats hot, and making sure that players are going to the postseason playing with complete confidence.

First pitch of the game will be at 7 pm at Waukee High School, as DCG will look to find a nice win against a good team.
